Walsin Lihwa Corporation announced its net operating revenue for August 2008, on a stand-alone basis, was NT$6.4 billion, an increase of 22% from August last year. January through August net operating revenue for 2008 totaled NT$55.9 billion, an increase of 4% compared to 2007.
On a consolidated basis, the company's net operating revenue for August 2008 was NT$ 14.4 billion, an increase of 9% from August last year. January through August revenue for 2008 totaled NT$117 billion, an increase of 9 percent compared to the previous year.
Walsin Lihwa Corporation, established in 1966, has been the leading manufacturer for copper wires and rods, power cables, and specialty steel in the greater China region.
